Police Arrest Man After Chase

A 12-mile pursuit ends in a crash in Corbin.

Police say it started when an officer tried to pull over a man suspected of stealing a debit card on Gordon Hill Road.

Police say 36-year-old Michael Dewayne Adams wouldn't stop for police. While on in a curve on Corenth Cemetery Road, police say the suspect wrecked.

Adams went to the hospital to be checked out, but is fine.

He's now in the Whitley County Jail, charged with fleeing and evading police, resisting arrest and other charges.

Why do the criminals run? knowing that eventually they're gonna get caught and face more charges. There is no such thing as a professional criminal because is so they wouldn't get caught.
