Toddler Dies After Falling Into Pool

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Officials say a central Kentucky toddler found in a swimming pool at a home where her family was visiting has died.

The Fayette County coroner's office says two-year-old Clara Jane
McKinney of Georgetown was found Monday afternoon in a private
swimming pool in Winchester.

Police say rescuers were able to get a pulse, and she was taken to University of Kentucky Medical Center, where she died late Friday afternoon.

The coroner's office says the death is being investigated as an accident.

I will pray for all of the people out there making ignorant judgements regarding a situation they know NOTHING about. If you knew any details regarding this situation, you would not be making such snap judgements based on the vague details provided by the news. If you knew the love and attention this little girl was showered with during her short life, you would not take the time to post hurtful and untrue comments about a family who are going through a very difficult time. By the way, "neglection" is not a word. Obtain a dictionary, and then a bible.

WHERE WERE THE PARENTS?! Child neglection is a sure offset to "accident" prevention. It is a SWIMMING POOL... attractive yet lethal to young people. How can parents give a 2-year old daughter so much freedom to allow such an event to take place?! - Take better precautionary measures! This example proves that parents need to be parents and take responsibility for their children's actions! This can apply to child death's, adolescent teens, young criminals, young drug and alcohol abusers, and any other child-related problem that should have been handled by the responisble parent! RESPONSIBILITY resides in the PARENTS. WHERE WAS GOD?
