A famous eastern Kentucky battlefield is now on a national list of historic places.
Camp Wildcat in Laurel County was added to the national register.
It's the site of the first major Kentucky Civil War battle.
The declaration will encourage state and federal support to preserve the site.
Six other Kentucky sites were also added including the Union Bus Station in Richmond.
