The Fayette County Clerk's office will recanvass votes in the primary race for state treasurer.
Republican Lonnie Napier made the request.
Melinda Wheeler barely defeated him, with 32% to Napier's 31%.
Napier, who's a state representatives, says if any problems appear as a result of the recanvass, he may ask for a statewide recount.
