Woodford County Accident
Police have reopened the westbound lanes of Versailles Road in Woodford County, that were shut down this morning due to a fatal car crash.
The crash happened just outside Versailles on U.S. 60.
The accident involved two cars. Two people suffered minor injuries and another man was airlifted from the scene with life-threatening injuries.
The two people now thought to be father and son are still recovering, the unidentified male died this morning.
The cause of the accident is still unknown, but investigations are currently underway. Police say all three individuals were wearing seatbelts and speed did not play a role in the crash.
