Students to honor fallen classmate
Tuesday night central Kentucky high school students honored a fallen classmate.
The Franklin County coroner ruled 15-year-old Waseeq Shahid died of cardiac arrest.
He was trying out for the Western Hills High School basketball team when he collapsed in October.
Before Tuesday night's game Shahid's family was presented with a framed Jersey, and a moment of silence was ordered for to honor the teen's life.
