A pizza delivery driver is recovering this morning after a late night robbery.

The Donatos Driver showed up at a house on Cedarwood Drive just after 11 o'clock last night.

The driver says he saw a group of juveniles sitting on the porch. When he approached the home, he says they attacked him. He was punched in the face and and ribs.

The robbers took four pizzas and some cheesy bread, but did not steal any of the man's cash.

Have you ever thought that maybe this child was hungry? Maybe his or her parents are sick or such and they needed food? maybe we need to hear the rest of the story!

I'm pretty sure whether the kids took food or money makes a difference. The driver was still robbed. I hope the driver is ok , and the kids are charged as addults for assault, and robbery.. I'm sure the parents of these kids are soooooo proud.

Let's not stereotype teens and say all of them are bad. You have your share of nuts in every age group, adults included. These youth should be punished to the utmost, I agree, and charged as adults. And what they did was stupid and senseless. But let's not degrade the youth of today because of these four offendors.

With all the thefts of cars and now this, I'm glad I no longer live in Lexington...what's happened??

It is past time that we, the adults, take charge of our youth. We need to be sure that we have adequate policing to catch them. That means we man the places that the teen crimes are happening until these teen criminals are caught. Then we need to make the parnents responsible for their chidren. Finally, we need to be sure that we give punishments that will deter future crime. As it is, our teens do not understand that they are not in control. We treat them as adults, letting them run wild until it is time to pay for actions. Then we give them a slap on the hand and we listen to the parents as they complain. I say, teach them that actions have consequences and teach parents that poor parenting has consequences.

That's a violent case of the munchies dude! Contrary to prior belief, smoking pot seems to lead to violence.
