Tennesse motorcyclist dies in crash

London, KY. - A Tennessee man was killed Saturday shortly after noon in a motorcycle crash on U. S. 25 near London, Ky.

Laurel County Sheriff's Deputy Greg Poyter said Michael Pacwa of Robbins, TN - about 34 years old – lost control of his motorcyle going into a curve northbound on 25.

Poyter said Pacwa was traveling at a high rate of speed when he spun out, careened off the road, struck a culvert, and was thrown from his cycle about 30 feet. Deputy Poyter said Pacwa was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Robbins, TN is about forty miles northwest of Knoxville.
