A Johnson County murder case is waived to the grand jury.
State police say Dale Wells Junior was driving on Kentucky Route 172 when he crossed onto the wrong side of the road and hit a motorcycle driven by 52-year-old Cecil Curtis.
Curtis died at the scene.
Police say well drove away from the scene of the crime.
