High Gas Prices Spawn New Crime Trend
Lexington police are asking people to watch out for thieves who target license plates. Dozens of people have reported their license plates stolen in the past few days. Officials say the crooks use the ripped off plates in gas drive offs. They say using a stolen plate is a felony.
