Teenager Helps Police Catch Robbery Suspect

A teenager helped police catch a robbery suspect early Tuesday morning.

Police say a man shoved a waitress at Mia's bar on South Upper Street, stealing her money.

Police say a 17-year-old boy witnessed the crime and chased after the suspect.

The suspect ran into a construction project at Short Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard, where police caught him.

Marvin K. Smith, 25, is charged first-degree robbery.

Police say they found a knife on Smith after they arrested him.
