Deadly Accident Under Investigation

Police are investigating a deadly accident in Boyle County.

The accident involved a car and a truck hauling a horse trailer.

A truck traveling down highway 150 heading into Danville slammed into a car.

Police say the car ran a stop sign at Stanford Road.

A man and woman from Tennessee were inside the car. Police say the impact killed them instantly.

The truck was hauling a truck trailer with two horses and one colt inside.

A veterinarian came to the scene to tend to the animals. They are expected to be fine.

The driver of the truck was transported to a hospital to be checked out

    So, is it always better to report on the condition of the animals before the condition of the human driver?
