Father of September 11th Hero Speaks To Local Church

David Beamer father of Todd Beamer the man known for his rally cry of "let's roll," to passengers on board united flight 93; Beamer spoke to church members at the Tates Creek Christian Church tonight.

The plane crashed in a Pennsylvania field in 2001 after Todd and other passengers fought back the hijackers.

David Beamer hopes his son's story will encourage others.
"The reason, and really the only reason we do it is to hopefully be able to help and encourage people about what it takes to survive the worst day of your life," Beamer said.

Along with Todd's heroism, David Beamer also focused tonight's talk on the value of human life.
