A Perry County mine operator is sentenced on mail fraud charges.
Harold Simpson, the operator of Simpson Mining Company, was sentenced to three years in federal prison and he must pay one and a half million dollars in restitution.
Simpson pleaded guilty to mail fraud earlier this year.
Simpson was accused of misrepresenting the size of his payroll to several insurance companies.
