A traffic stop turned into a drug bust for Lexington Police late Tuesday night.

Police pulled over an SUV on I-75 near Man O'War Boulevard.

Police say the driver, Jabbar Staggers, was acting fidgety when answering questions.

This actually happened outside of the Holiday Inn Express in Lexington where I was staying for a few days and I witnessed a large part of the events. I should say that I am British and have often watched the Cops show, this was the first time I had ever really seen the 'real thing' and I was very impressed by the police officers their professionalism and the way they treated the 'offenders'. I was particularly impressed by the fact that at no point did I see anything remotely like some of the exaggerated scenes that you see on the show! I am proud to say that I have lived here for over ten years and have never seen anything even remotely like the impression that Europeans have of this great country and wish that people could see just why I love living here as much as I do. Great job guys.
