Alleged Dog Abuser To Be In Court Thursday

It's called one of the worst cases of animal cruelty police in Pulaski County have seen. Police have now released photographs some may find disturbing.

Investigators say the pictures taken from a neighbor's video camera show 30-year-old Ronald Turner beating his dog.

He's then accused of slamming a dog house on top of the dog. The puppy, named "Romeo" is now recovering at an animal shelter.

Turner has been charged with animal cruelty. He'll be in court Thursday.

This shows that people know that unless there is prove such as the pictures you can't get anything done around pulaksi county. It is so sad that this comment was made about the neighbor who took the pictures. Who knows whether this person had tried to stop the abuse before or tried to talk to the county attorney or the police. This day and age you have to cover your butt. Plain and simple truth. Thank God he did take the pictures, Thankfully, someone listened. We need more people like this neighbor to step up and do this not just for animals but for the young children being subjected to continued violence and by their own parents. Shame on you for trying to say something bad about the neighbor doing a good deed and coming forward. Shame!

I hope he gets punished for this. I got to work this morning, got the newspaper out of the mailbox and these horrible pictures were on the front page. They about made me sick. This defensless dog is laying there while this monster tortures him. The look on the dog's face while he is choking him is enough to convict this man for a lengthy jail term. If this is the only Mr. Turner knows to release stress or solve whatever issues he is having, someone needs to keep him away from animals. I pray to God he does not have children, because if he does, it is untelling what could be going on there!

I think he needs to be in jail for a long time for this. Anyone who does this to a poor defenceless animal deserves to spend some time in jail and maybe if we are lucky he will get the crap beat out of him like he did his dog.I know if he lived in my town there would be people waiting in line to beat the crap out of him and what makes it worse is the his neighbors stood there with a camera and didn't try to stop it so ewhat does that say about them.
