RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) - Eastern Kentucky University's Board of Regents has approved a 209 (m) million dollar budget that will provide raises for full-time faculty and staff members.
The three-point-five percent raise approved at the regents' meeting yesterday is for the 2007-2008 academic year.
The new budget is a 17 (m) million dollar increase from 2006-2007.
Some of the new money will increase graduate student stipends from 67-hundred to ten-thousand dollars and provide an additional 204-thousand for work-study jobs.
Student meal plans will have increases ranging from two-point-three to three-point-three percent.
