After a four-year investigation, Nicholas County officials arrest who they call one of the biggest drug dealers in Central Kentucky.
Police uncovered almost $50,000 in cash, and a variety of narcotics with a street value of over $100,000 and numerous fire arms.
The money and drugs were found in a rural Nicholas County home of 47-year-old Gary Barnett.
Barnett is now charged with trafficking controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Also being charged with trafficking a controlled substance, 41-year-old Vickie Shepard.
Police say they think the two were selling the drugs to buyers in Nicholas and surrounding counties.
Both are being held in the Bourbon County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
