A Wal-Mart store in Richmond reopened early Sunday following a late night bomb scare.
Police and fire units and units from the responded to the Wal-Mart on the bypass shortly before midnight following what officials describe as a call from a woman saying there was a bomb in the store.
Authorities cordened off the area and the store was evacuated. Authorities were able to trace the call to a pay phone at a nearby service station. The trace of the call was made through the store’s phone system.
A search of the store turned up nothing. Authorities say they are investigating the source of the call.
