New Richmond City Police Chief

The city of Richmond has a new police chief on the job as of Monday.

Mayor Connie Lawson swore in Larry Brock this morning. Brock started his career in law enforcement with the Richmond Police Department in the late 1970's.

Most recently, he's worked with the U.S. Department of Justice. Brock says he's glad to be back in Richmond where he got his start.

Brock says the first thing he plans to do is sit down with his officers and talk to them about how they'd like to improve the Richmond Police Department.
