To the commonsense statement...know what you are talking about. There is a law for waverunners on Lake Cumberland and it is 12, which may be too young, but that is the law. And they do need a boaters license. These motorcrafts are dangerous, but so are boats driven by adults if you are not careful. Accidents happen, that is why they are called accidents. If you had commonsence you would be praying for these families. Obviously you have not loved or lost someone of importance to you, or you would understand the pain these families AND children are going through. I believe enough has been said about the COMMONSENSE. We need to pour out our prayers for these families.

hmm common sense... i think you need to watch wat you say... people have lost a boy... dont talk about your opinion... it is not needed. But for the family.. i am so sorry... that hurts me.... But you kno something... I lost a 15 yr old cousin in May so i know how it feels.... But i was recently told that God had a plan for us since the day we were born. He knows exactly what is going to happen in life. I think each child is a blessing... and god is watching over you. I will pray for you:)

Our hearts goes out to all of you. To the families and friends. With my son visiting his best friend at the docks, I know this effects many lives. We will continue to pray for you in this time of sorrow.

My heart goes out to both families. It is always a terrible thing when a young ones life is cut short. We never know when it could be us.

I'm not surprised there aren't more of these tragic accidents on the water ways. There needs to be regulations regulating the age of these operators of watercraft. I've seen it all too often on the lake, these young kids zipping up and down the lake without the first inkling of what the rules of the waterway is.
