Florida Teenager Killed In Watercraft Accident

JAMESTOWN, Ky. (AP) - A Florida teenager died on Monday following an accident on Lake Cumberland in south-central Kentucky,
officials said.

The 14-year-old boy was operating a personal watercraft when he was struck broadside by another personal watercraft operated by a 14-year-old boy from Indiana, according to the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources. The accident happened in the Greasy Creek arm of Lake Cumberland.

The victim was airlifted to Russell County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name was not immediately available. No charges had been filed pending further investigation, the agency said.
