A northern Kentucky man is being credited with saving lives after alerting people of a condominium fire this weekend.
Twenty-six-year-old David Setters was dropping off a friend after work early Saturday morning when he saw flames shooting from
the roof at the condo complex in Burlington.
Setters knocked on the outside security door until a resident let him in. Setters then banged on doors to wake sleeping residents and alert them of the fire. Setters says he knocked on every door in the building -- even on the third floor where the smoke was thickest.
Fire officials say two minor injuries were reported. The fire left 50 people temporarily homeless and caused more than 250-thousand-dollars in damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
