Winburn Community Cleans Up After Car Chase

Print

People living in a Lexington neighborhood are being forced to clean up a mess left behind by an accused criminal.

Police say a teen lead them on chase and ended up crashing into a sign that leads into the Winburn community.

Rev. Howard Jackson told 27 NEWSFIRST that it took the Winburn Neighborhood Beautification Project several years just to get the sign.

He says this is just another example of how criminals don't have any respect for their neighborhood.

Residents estimate it will cost them $5000, and take about 2 months to replace the sign.
