Woman Cut From Her Car After Serious Accident

A woman is in the hospital after a serious crash along a Berea road.

It happened on Highway 21. Police believe the woman was headed westbound during a rainshower and hydro-planed coming around a curve.

Police say she lost control of her car, hit a tree, and ended up down a hill wedged between two others.

The woman, who had to be cut from the car, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A long time ago, another dear family member did not walk away from an accident. I am so thankful this young woman I've loved along time did. Giving thanks!

That road needs to be re-routed or something done to fix all the curves in it. Ive worked in berea for five years and ive seen alot of wrecks on that road. Ive even been rearended once from sitting in traffic waiting on them to clear the road from another wreck that happened minutes before. When it has rained, that road is slicker than ice, due to all the oil that comes from the rock trucks that travel this road. This lady is very lucky, alot of people have lost there lives on this road.
