Man Killed In Accident On US 60

US 60 is closed after a serious car accident leaves one person dead.

Authorities tell 27 NEWSFIRST that a car was heading east on US 60 when it tried to pass in a no passing zone. That car ended up hitting a box truck head on, killing the driver.

The box truck flipped when hit, sending that driver to UK hospital.

The name of the victim has not been released but we do know the man was from Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.

I hope the truck driver is okay. Seems to be many (edited) drivers in the central Kentucky area.
