Kentucky Senator Votes Against Bounty For Bin Laden

The U.S. Senate overwhelming voted today to double the bounty on Osama Bin Laden.
The reward for his capture is now $50,000,000.
The vote was 87 to 1.
Kentucky Republican Jim Bunning cast the only vote against raising the bounty saying, catching Al Qaeda leaders was already a top priority.
Bin Laden is believed to be hiding out in the mountains of Pakistan.

This is such a BS story. Bunnings vote was largely symbolic, taking this story seriously is a waste of time. I'm so glad to see that our senate is spending so much time on critical issues such as increasing a reward that no one has tried to collect on instead of something as mundane as health care or energy policy

How is 9/11 Bush's fault?Bill Clinton was on first name basis with Saddam and OSB.Do we have to lay blame everywhere but where it belongs? They were moronic idiots and attcked us.I don't think anyone in the U.S. Government had anything to do with it.Not even Clinton. If I am a moron for believing this way, well come and see me personally and I will prove you wrong.

jim bunning is a joke, the people that think 9/11 was a inside job need there heads checked.

TO CUTTER: SUSPECTING THAT 9/11 WAS AN "INSIDE JOB" IS NOT UNPATRIOTIC AND IT CERTAINLY DOES NOT INDICATE THAT ONE IS A "ROSIE LOVER". I HAPPEN TO KNOW NUMEROUS CITIZENS WITH EXTREMELY HIGH I.Q. LEVELS THAT DO NOT DISCARD THE POSSIBILITY OF A CONSPIRACY AS WELL. I, HOWEVER; FIND IT "MORONIC" TO BLINDLY FOLLOW AND BELIEVE AN ADMINISTRATION THAT HAS REPEATEDLY LIED TO, AND CONTINUES TO CHEAT THE AMERICAN POPULACE.

Anyone who thinks raising the bounty on Bin Laden Needs to reel thier brain back in. The 25,000.00 bounty did not get him he is not even alive. So give Mr. Bunning some credit for having a brian.

I think this is probably the dumbest story of the day, and non news as well. Conspiracy theorists and their 911 was an inside job crap aren't worth rebuttal. Mr. Bunnings vote is purely symbolic. I wish these same people would be doing more about things like health care and tax reform.. this is a waste of taxpayer time and money..Who ever said that if they didn't turn him in for 25, what makes you think they'll do it for 50 is right on the money ( pun intended). Bill in sewell, good call.. still chucklin

That's some serious insight there Diane. Liberals this, Liberals that. It's the GOP boobs who have been in control for 7 years and have done nothing. No Bin Ladin and more terrorists, thanks for that.

9/11 was a inside job view the videos and view the pay checks cut by the CIA to Bin Laden prior to 9/11. They have been plotting this attack since 1989. It was a matter of time. Why would we reward anyone for turning in George Bush's chief political supporter. Without Bin Laden, old Bush would still be in Texas rubbing elbows with Cacti.

I think Bin Laden is shacked-up with Rosie in N.Y. Has it been proven that Bin Laden is not dat baby daddy?
