Pre-Teen Recovering After Being Trampled By Horse

Eleven year-old Alisha Brown continues to recover after falling off her horse during a quarter horse event Friday evening at the Jessamine County fair grounds.

It's reported that the eleven year-old was thrown off the horse near the front gate of the ring-- then her horse tried to jump the fence trampling her in the process.

Brown suffered serious injuries including a severe concussion, but is doing better, and has been released from UK Hospital.

I know this little girl, and supposedly the "gate" is too close at the end of their show to slow the horses down...this is not the 1st time this has happened..city/county park needs to re-do their horse show gates
