Child Is Burned

Investigators in Laurel County are on the scene of a bizarre explosion.

A 3-year old boy has been flown to UK Medical Center with burns on his face and head.

Laurel County EMS says the boy was walking outside the Plantation Apartments in London when he dropped his sippy cup.

When the cup hit the ground something exploded, burning the toddler's head and face.

The ATF has been called in, but officials say it doesn't appear the burns are life threatening.
