Two Men Plead Guilty To Smuggling Drugs Into Jail

Two men accused of smuggling drugs into the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center plead guilty.

Jail officials say Brent Cantrell and Jeff Blair were the leaders in a drug ring smuggling meth, pills, and marijuana into the jail.

The group was busted in January.

Both Cantrell and Blair were supposed to go on trial Monday, instead they pleaded guilty.

They will be sentenced on August 17th.

Cantrell is already serving a 50 year sentence for meth convictions.
