10 Year Sentence Handed Out To Man

A man accused of beating another and leaving him for dead is sentenced to 10 years in jail.

Abraham Sherman pleaded guilty last month to amended charges of robbery, arson and assault.

He was originally charged with attempted murder along with Tommy Joe Mills.

Both were accused of attacking a man at Cannon Creek Lake in Bell County last year.

Mills also pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 15 years in jail.
