Prison is on lockdown

The Big Sandy Federal Penitentiary in Martin County is on lockdown.

Prison officials have not released any information explaining why, but say that no one inside the prison or in the community is in any danger.

We hope to have more information when it is released.

I have a loved one here. And what's really going on is the inmates are protesting in unison (all races, peacefully) against the dangerous x-rays the inmates are being forced to submit to or being placed in segregated housing unit and losing their jobs. Even if they are willing to submit to a body search. See this news article. www.sfbayview.com/2010/prisoners-forced-to-submit-to-radiation-experiments-for-private-foreign-companies

With the management at this place i am surprised. They even have worker there, it is not about the safety of the guards. There is guards working there that i sure would not want to watch my back. If it mean a pay in crease or promotion they would sell out their mother. T\
