Frankfort Dentist Loses License In Settlement

A Frankfort dentist has lost her license for 60 days as part of a settlement with State officials.

The Kentucky Board of Dentistry had been investigating more than 40 complaints against Doctor Arlene Baluyut.

The complaints range from failing to keep proper patient documentation to allowing unqualified assistants to perform dental procedures.

Baluyut must also pay the board 30-thousand dollars for investigative costs.

I was a patient and never had a problem. Actually this kind of caught me off guard. I only had exams and cleanings. Very thorough and very personable. The situation if true, is sad.
