An eastern Kentucky man is facing theft charges after a woman claims he scammed her online.
The Barbourville Advocate reports police arrested 68-year-old John T. Croslin of Barbourville last week.
The paper reports the woman answered an online ad and paid about $1,000 for a dog before reporting the incident to Florida police.
The woman never got her dog.
