A civil lawsuit filed against former Williamsburg Police Officer Brad Nighbert has been settled.
Connie Jackson filed the suit against Nighbert after an accident that happened on US 25, while Nighbert was on-duty.
In court- both sides agreed to settle, dismissing the case.
Nighbert was indicted last January for several charges including drug possession and DUI stemming from that crash.
