WYMT Remembers Former Hazard Mayor Willie DawahareFormer Hazard Mayor Willie Dawahare died 21 years ago this week.
Willie Dawahare served two terms as Hazard's mayor from 1962 to 1969.
He was also part of the family that started the Dawahare's clothing chain in Eastern Kentucky.
We recently came across his obituary in our archives from 1986.
