Lexington Drug Bust Results In Several Arrests

Police in Lexington say they've arrested several people after finding drugs and several pit bulls at a home.

It happened on Georgetown Street.

Police received an anonymous call about drug deals going on at the home. The SWAT Team was called in as a precaution.

Police tell 27 NEWSFIRST they confiscated drugs and guns at the home.

The Humane Society was also called in to detain seven pit bulls which were at the home. Those dogs are now being held during the investigation.

Clean up that area. All you see is drug dealing and prostitution. There is no room for animal cruelty.

Really, do you believe you will ever be able to control morality. People have used illegal drugs throughout history and will continue to do so. I bet the other dealers are glad this bunch is gone because they will now have "New" customers. The war on drugs is just a huge waste of money and manpower.

When the raid was over several others who deal in drugs ran raggid in the streets. It seems as though the message to these thugs isn't getting through.
