Police Dismantle Meth Lab

Police in Jackson County spent much of the night dismantling a meth lab.

The lab was found at a home off Route 421 in the Sand Gap community.

Police were seen questioning people outside the home Tuesday night and arrests are expected soon.

We hope to have more information on Wednesday.

Its a shame.. I live close to the scene and have seen children playing around the property the last few days.. The parents and all involved need swift punishment. We will NOT TOLERATE THIS ANY LONGER! I had never even HEARD of meth until a few years ago, and it's destroying our youth, our community, and its time to tell anyone involved in the manufacturing or abuse of this deadly drug that you will be found.
