Former Wildcat Is Back In The NFL

Former U.K. football player Tim Couch is headed back to the NFL, after signing a new contract today.

Couch signed a two year contract with Jacksonville.

After being the number one draft pick, he spent five years in Cleveland, then tried to latch on with Green Bay, but he was bothered by a sore arm.

Couch has not played in an NFL game since the 2004 preseason, but apparently Jacksonville liked what they saw.

I hope it works out for Tim - this would be a reason to watch football again!

I've been a Browns fan my whole life and love it when Tim went to Cleveland. Unfortunately, the coaching staff in Cleveland ruined Tim because they fed him to the wolves without an offensive line to protect him and he spent more time on his back. I am not a UK fan but Tim was my number one choice I wanted to go to the Browns. I hope it works out for Tim in Jacksonville; he deserves a second chance. Maybe my Browns should have somehow got their hands on Jamarcus Russell to be their QB. I have read he can throw a football 50 yards while on his back..LOL! Go get 'em Tim!
