Visitation Services For Murdered Six Year Old Boy

Visitation services were held on Thursday to remember a Winchester child murdered over the weekend.

Six-year-old Wesley Mullins was found dead Saturday night in his grandfather's garage on Main Street in Paris.

Visitation took place at Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester, beginning at five.

His funeral will be Friday morning at ten.

Investigators say they have a person of interest in the case, but have not released that person's name.

I'm sorry but I cant' see the money that has been donated and is to be donated being used for the right thing. Why do you donate now when everything was given to this little fellow for a beautiful funeral, his family don't need the money to cover any of the expeneses now. I can't see donating money to be used to buy drugs or booze, get your own money, don't pry on people that are feeling sorry for you. Now if the people in charge of taking up the money would donate it to some kind of charity in Wesley's name that would be great, you know like to a shelter for abused children, something like that, then I would'nt have a problem with dontaing money myself. But I will not give money now because the family doesn't need it for the expenses!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is really hard to be able to just watch the news in the last few months without crying so hard. I don't understand why so many people can and are harming these precious children. I want to send my thoughts and prayers to this family. I can't imagine how much pain and anger that you must feel. I hope that GOD heals your wounds and that justice is brought upon the horrible person who is responsible for taking such a sweet innocent child away from his loved ones. May GOD always be with you!

I wanted to say that our family is sorry for your loss and you are in our prayers. We lived on Main St. Paris above the old Ardery Drup up until a month and a half ago, with our two daughters ages 3 and 9. There peers to be a lot going on in that area that needs to be stopped, before other young children and teens are hurt. May God Be With You and Yours....

I thought it was disrespectful to have a WKYT crew set up outside the funeral home for tonights visitation. Let the family mourn in privacy.

When is it going to stop! What is it going to take to keep our childre safe? Everyday you hear a story of something horrible happening to our children. Its heartbreaking to think our children suffer the way they do. Why can't we rewrite laws or write new ones that would make the punishment so bad that people would shake in their shoes just thinking about it. When is it going to STOP? Let's find a way to help our children and stop the pain, neglect, abuse of all kinds. We must! Someday the Lord will ask what we did for our children and what will be our answer.
