Only One Of Six Defendants In Federal Drug Case Will Appear In Court

Out of six defendants, now only one will head to trial in the Clay County federal drug and racketeering investigation.

Former City Council member Darnell Hipsher filed a motion in federal court Tuesday for re-arraignment.

The judge accepted the motion and Hipsher plans to plead guilty in London federal court Wednesday morning.

This comes after former Mayor Daugh White pleaded guilty on Monday to his role in the case.

Former Assistant Chief of Police Todd Roberts is the only one set for trial next Tuesday.
