Oil Company Agrees To Pay Back Wages

An eastern Kentucky oil company agrees to pay more than $200,000 in back wages for labor violations.

Whitesburg-based Childers Oil Company will pay 128 employees for minimum wage and overtime violations of the fair labor standards act.

Investigators with the U.S. Labor Department say the violations occurred at the company's stores between February 2005 and February 2007.
