Man Found In Road Suffering From Head Injury

Investigators in Laurel County are trying to figure out how a man ended up in the middle of a road overnight with a serious head injury.

The man was found on Hawk Creek Road off Highway West 80, about five miles from London.

A sheriff's deputy says the man told police he was hit by a car but couldn't give them a description of the car.

The man was flown to UK Hospital.

Police say they'll try to talk to the man today to find out what happened.
