Chunk Falls From Lexington Parking Garage

More Video...

An inspection on a downtown Lexington parking garage is planned for today, after a chunk of concrete fell.

The Lexington Herald-Leader reports a section of the Urban County Government Center's parking garage is closed as a precaution.
It affects spaces on on the second and third levels.

The chunk of concrete that fell weighs less than a pound.

Nothing was damaged as a result.

Will it take another woman getting killed by concrete before the Lexington government fixes this problem? It could have happen again. Whenever I visit Lexington, I know now to stay away from the parking garages! Get it fix, Lexington!!

Thank God, Chunk, I was worried when I read this. I knew you didn't just "fall".
