Free technology training available for Kentuckians

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Tuesday is the deadline for some free
technology training for Kentuckians.
The training is offered through a program called Elevate
America. The training comes through a public-private partnership
with Microsoft and offers training ranging from basic skills to
Microsoft certification.
Participants must be Kentucky residents, and those younger than
18 need parental consent. State government employees are not
eligible.
Several thousand vouchers are still available. To get one, click on the link below.

Today, finally got email from office handling this matter and they said it closed @ 4:30pm yesterday with all vouchers being take. B.S. Guess they gave them out to the office employees. A hard working hasn't got a chance.

Why didnt anyone know about this until Today?? oh it just so happens that the vouchers that were worth the most is oh so conviently given away. I would love to know who was in the know of all these vouchers and who got them and why the general public wasnt made aware of these until today the deadline?? POOR Journalism or Poor advertising by the state.

go to this site https://kyelevateamerica.ky.gov/default.aspx. However, the links don't work and today is the last day to request a voucher. It doesn't surprise me that this has happened and no one knew about this program. It seems that our state government likes to keep info like to themselves.
