Woman Hits Burglar With Cane

A woman chased off two burglars from her Lexington home this morning. She hit one of them in the head with a cane as they tried to get inside her home.

It happened around four Tuesday morning at the Fairview Mobile Home Park on Winchester Road.

A woman says she was in the kitchen getting a soda, when she looked out the window and noticed two men trying to steal her moped.
She made noise to try and scare them off, but the men ended up instead, trying to break into her home.

The woman grabbed a cane, which was laying nearby. When one of the men tried to come in the door, she hit him over the head with it.

The burglars ran off.

It is a shame that people do such things to the elderly. Almost makes me sick to even think it. Thank the Lord that He was watching over her, no telling what could have happened. Go get your kicks elsewhere and leave the elderly alone, how would you feel if that was your mother, grandmother or better yet, your daughter later in life and someone tried to do that to her. But with the way the generation is today, they probably would not care anyway!

Way to go girl! I hope you hurt him badly! Too bad you didn't have a sawed off shotgun with some buck shot in it to use on both of them! This is exactly what more people need to start doing to these bums who are too lazy to work. Start killing a few of them in the process of stealing and perhaps the rest will get the message loud and clear!

That's one cool (edited) cane-looks like a cobra. It must have belonged to her (edited) daddy.
