Police Closer To Identifying Killer Of Four-Year-Old Boy

Louisville Police may be close to making an arrest in the murder of a four-year-old boy.

Cesar Ivan Aguilar Cano was buried in Guatemala last month.

He disappeared in June while playing near his Churchill Downs area apartment.

His body was found a week later in a garbage truck.

Now a family spokesman says investigators are telling the child's mother they feel there is "an arrest on the horizon."

I agree with you, C. Why was these parents not watching this child? They are just as responsbile for his death as the person who did the deed. If they were doing their job as parents, this child would not have been taken in the first place! No responsible parent lets a 4 yr old out of their sight to roam the neighborhood! Perhaps, the parents will watch more closely any other children they may have. I hope the person that killed this child gets the death penalty and is executed immediately...one can only hope! Sorry to say, it will take 20 years before justice is finally served.

They have been punished, they have had the most precious thing taken from them, now leave them alone. Even the best parents make mistakes. People are not like this in countries where they are from. If you have nothing nice to say, Keep it to yourself. They didn't know USA was such a crime ridden country. SOmetimes I am even ashamed to live here!

From Day one of this horrible tragedy I can't stop thinking that if the family was watching this child appropriately this would have never happened! To let a 4 yr old out of your site and to allow him to venture out to unknown peoples apartments all the time was ridiculous! I think that parents who do this should be punished also.
