A Danville woman is in jail charged with attempted murder for what police say happened during a violent robbery at a gas station.

Investigators say 29-year-old Victoria Spoonamore tried to rob the Chill's Quick Stop in Danville.

When the clerk fought back, she says Spoonamore bit her, and screamed that she had AIDS.

The clerk suffered two bites, both of which broke the skin.

Spoonamore is charged with wanton endangerment, robbery and attempted murder, and is lodged at the Boyle County Jail.

Danville Police say HIV test results are not back yet on her.

Imagine my surprise to turn on the t.v. in San Diego and see my niece by marriage robbing Chills and then biting the clerk. Yes, she has aids, she is a drug addict, she had a messed up life, and she is a thief whom I would never trust by herself in my home and when I saw her last year, she looked terrible. No, she doesn't live in that trailer, she ran there to hide from the cops. I do believe she should be charged with attempted murder and serve time which will be nothing new to her. However, she will die in prison because she won't last long. I feel sorry for the clerk. She will have a lifetime of worry not knowing if she will be struck down with aids also.

For Kelly who said she should go to the electric chair...r u really human? She shouldn't be put in the electric chair. Do u really think that would solve any problems? You don't know about this woman. You don't know nothing about her situation. You are a real cruel person. I'm glad here in Kentucky we do not have the electric chair just for dumb ppl like u who would have everybody who has done anything wrong put there. God is the only one who can judge this woman. Not you or anyone else.

Sorry mel, without quotation marks around that sentence I misread it as your thoughts. My apologies! I too hope she doesn't have any type of disease from this.

This is to Smokey in Lexington, Mel was not saying that the clerk would have AIDS. She was saying that the lady had told the clerk, "I have AIDS and now you will have it". Mel was not saying that the clerk would have it.

Yeh, I didn't mean it that way. I meant to quote her as saying,"I have AIDS and now you will, too". There is a decent possibility, though. I hope not.

What was the other woman doing during this attack? It looked like she picked up something when she came in the store and put in down the back of her pants. Then during the scuffle, she was taking something off the counter. Money? Nothing was ever said about her.

It's a good thing this didn't happen at Applebee's. Since she bit the woman on the chest, she would have had to use a blanket to "cover up" or she would have been asked to leave...or maybe that's where it should have happened. And Mel, I've never posted and normally agree with your comments but your last sentence says "She stated that she had AIDS and now the clerk would have it, too." is a bit wrong. The clerk COULD have it too. Petty I know, but just correcting.

Thank you to all of you that respnded to my question earlier. I see that they now edited the report so that it talks about it now. I think that it is a shame that this lady had to go through this and hopefully she does not get any diseases from this monster. I am willing to bet that there were drugs involved in this situation. God Bless the victim of this attack. My prayers are with you.

These posts are delayed in being published; therefore, 20 might be posted at the same time, with the same content and none aware of the other. Not really that big a deal, is it? Trailer comments are completely unnecessary. If this woman does have AIDS, there is a good chance that it would be transmitted by biting. That's why we panic over sharps sticks in hospitals. The charge is attempted murder, which is correct. She stated that she had AIDS and now the clerk would have it, too.

No Casey, it is not murder unless the person she bit dies! And Anonymous, we don't know that the cashier now has AIDS. Get real people and quit the assumptions!
