Troopers Cleared In Deadly Shooting

Two Kentucky State Police troopers have been cleared in the deadly shooting of a suspect in Whitley County.

The troopers, Gary Martin and Scott Bunch, shot and killed 29-year-old Jonathon Partin in July.

Investigators say Partin had set fire to a neighbor's home and made a threatening move toward the troopers with a pistol. The Corbin News Journal reports a grand jury found the troopers followed all proper procedures.

I have children in law enforcement I would hope nothing like this ever happens to them. but if it did i would expect them to do whatever it takes to protect themselfs. and to protect the people that they swore to protect.

Thank goodness!!!If you come at the law with a gun,you should expect to get shot. The police are to protect law abiding citizens and criminals must accept the results of their decisions not to obey and respect the law.
