Virginia State Troopers were driving wreckless in the pursuit of the suspect. I witnessed VSP travelling what seemed like the equivlant of a NASCAR qualifying speed while Wise County deputies were more controlled. One VSP vehicle approached a car in the passing lane then swerved to go around as if he was mad that the car did not get out of their way when the lane was open on the right hand side.

He wasn't the only one driving at a high rate of speed. My sister and I were on I-23 when this happened. The police cruisers that were chasing him were also driving at a high rate of speed. We were in a dangerous curve at a high point on the mountain, when out of no where, cruisers came up behind us..barely giving us time to react. About 5-10 minutes later further down the mountain there was a crash where the car rammed into the mountain side and there were at least 10 cruisers if not more. The whole incident could have caused some serious injuries today..thank God there weren't any when we went by. The road wasn't even marked very well..and the accident..and all the cruisers were in a sharp curve. It was a very dangerous situation from beginning to end.
